EUR 3,62 million EU funding awarded for the construction of a loading ramp at the Port of Pori

Finland has successfully applied EU funding from the European Commission, receiving a grant of EUR 39.45 million from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for seven military mobility initiatives within the country.

This allocation is targeted at enhancing road infrastructure and building loading ramps at ports, involving collaboration between the central government and various entities. Notably, the Port of Pori was granted 3.62 million euros for the construction of a loading ramp.

The CEF Transport initiative is designed to improve military mobility throughout the EU by modifying segments of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) to accommodate both civilian and military requirements, ensuring dual functionality.
