Satakunta University of Applied Sciences is one of the most international employers of Finland

Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) has been selected as the winner in the public organizations category in the International Employer of the Year competition for the second time.

The competition, organised by the Junior Chamber International Finland (JCI Finland), aims to highlight Finnish organisations that have been successful in recruiting, training and retaining international talent.

It is essential for Finland’s economic growth that more and more organisations recruit foreigners. Satakunta University of Applied Sciences has internationalisation as part of its strategy and the jury was impressed not only by the internationalisation strategy but also by the number of foreign students and employees. Networking takes place outside the university in professional communities and in networks and events in the different sectors.
